November 11th, 2021 marked the 100th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. To celebrate the anniversary, a flower ceremony was held which allowed members of the general public to place a flower at the Tomb. This was the first time in it’s 100 year history that this practice was allowed. It required that the Tomb Sentinels modify their routine in a way that had never been done before.
As a member of the United States Army, Nathan Goulette was assigned in a leadership capacity to the Tomb Sentinels and was part of the team that made the Centennial Flower Ceremony a huge success.
