As you are aware, the Military Order of the Purple Heart is a Congressionally Chartered organization solely composed of combat wounded that among other causes is dedicated to promoting American patriotism. After discussion among Department leadership we feel the Americans in Wartime Museum not only upholds these values but will also serve as a necessary component to promote these patriotic ideals to all citizens visiting our nation’s capital. Therefore, it is with great pleasure that we endorse the Americans in Wartime Museum.
