Americans in Wartime Experience

Camillus Sessoms

Vietnam War

During the Vietnam War, Camillus Sessoms served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.  Among his accomplishments during his military career, Camillus tells the story of escorting the crew of Apollo 11 after splash down to Hickam Air Force Base and about his role as an extra in the WWII movie, Tora, Tora, Tora!"  He also has some interesting insights into race relations in the military during the 50's and 60's.
