Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
Chelsea Porterfield served her country as a member of the United States Army. She served as a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. After her wartime servce, she served as a Sentinel at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. She became the first female Sergeant of the Guard and was one of three women to be part of an all female guard change.Back to Stories
