Jerry Cummin

Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Northern Watch, Operation Southern Watch

Jerry Cummin served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.  He served during Operation Desert Storm, Operation Northern and Southern Watch, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. 

Upon graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, he became an Electronic Weapons Officer on F-4G Wild Weasels.  He was part of the first strike package into Iraq during Operation Desert Storm, and was a member of the 561st Fighter Squadron, the last active duty Phantom squadron in the Air Force.

It examines how periods of conflict have profoundly shaped American society. It educates visitors about the costs of war, both on a personal and social level.
