Ormond "O.C." Fowler

Vietnam War

Ormond C. Fowler, Jr. served as a Commander in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. His military career included assignments at Adak Island in the Aleutian Islands, as well as key naval bases in San Diego, California; Pensacola, Florida; and Jacksonville, Florida. Fowler was stationed in the Mekong Delta during his Vietnam service, where he served as a helicopter aircraft commander, contributing to U.S. Navy operations in one of the war's most challenging environments.
