Vietnam War

During the Vietnam War, Tom Esslinger served his country as a United States Marine.  Tom served with the 3rd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment, 3 Marine Division during the Battle of Khe Sanh atop Hill 881 South.  He received a Bronze Star.

It examines how periods of conflict have profoundly shaped American society. It educates visitors about the costs of war, both on a personal and social level.
